Now, let’s read about some of the #pawties and events that happened by the deadline for this article (oh, and if you don’t know how to #pawty, don’t worry, I got you covered—just read this).

Suspect: @TinyPearlCat is interviewed by detectives at #NCMM
The news spread like wildfire as pals arrived on Saturday for #NCMM that a suspcious-looking character named Gangster Rat had been found bludgeoned to death with a blunt instrument in the kitchen of #NipClub Manor. Detectives @mariodacat and @TweetingTruman quickly arrived to lead the investigation, and their enquiries soon revealed that all of the six suspects had the motive, means and opportunity to have committed the crime. There was strong suspicion that the guilty anipal was @WinstonTabby, who was found to be paying more kitten support than he should due to Gangster Rat having falsified some DNA tests, or @TinyPearlCat, possibly acting to protect her royalties from selling her famous Buzz Nip. Under questioning, renowned viticulturist Professor @DylCat1 revealed that he had developed a new wine able to boost longevity, and Gangster Rat had been demanding 75% of the profits from his world-changing discovery.

No one wanted to believe that librarian Ms @Katiebella2 was actually a murderer, though it was discovered that Gangster Rat had been stealing rare first editions from the library and threatening to blame her if she denounced him, but pals were much more ready to believe the crime was committed by Dame @ShaynaCat, who had earlier been overheard having a heated argument with Gangster Rat over his attempts to increase the mortgage payments due on NipClub Manor. However, just before the party ended, the real murderer was unmasked and proved to be talented singer and entertainer Miss Pink, otherwise known as @Doggymolly, who had been stalked by Gangster Rat for some time and had eventually in desperation taken the only way she could think of to get rid of him. The sympathetic detectives agreed to arrange for a plea bargain involving a non-custodial sentence in return for her passing on all the secrets of his contacts and his organisation which Gangster Rat had disclosed to her in the hope she’d be impressed. Proud winner of a $10 donation to the @Ngo9lives rescue in his name was @OttoGingerBoy, who correctly named both the killer and the weapon, which turned out to be a wine bottle. Pals toasted the outcome with a glass of @WinstonTabby’s Questionable Wine, and congratulated Detectives Mario and Truman on a job well done.
